This policy explains exactly how Qadam family rewards work — what you need to earn them, how to claim them, where they are valid, and what the limitations are.

1. Overview

Qadam rewards families that collectively meet monthly activity targets with exciting shopping vouchers. These are real voucher codes that can be redeemed at participating grocery and retail stores. The goal is to incentivise healthy daily habits with meaningful, practical value for Indian households.

2. Who Is Eligible?

  • Any active family group on Qadam with at least 2 members is eligible to participate in the monthly reward programme.
  • All family members must have their Qadam account in good standing (not suspended or restricted).
  • The family group must have been active for at least 7 consecutive days within the reward month to qualify.
  • Members who have been removed from or left a family mid-month do not contribute to the family's monthly total for that month.

3. Step Targets & Reward Tiers

Qadam calculates reward eligibility based on the collective step performance of all family members during the calendar month. There are two reward tiers:

₹100 Voucher — Standard Tier

  • Each member of the family must log at least 7,500 steps on at least 20 days within the month.
  • All active family members must meet this threshold for the family to qualify.

₹200 Voucher — Premium Tier

  • Each member of the family must log at least 10,000 steps on at least 25 days within the month.
  • All active family members must meet this threshold for the family to qualify for the higher tier.

Note: Only one reward tier is awarded per family per month. If a family qualifies for both tiers (e.g., all members exceed 10,000 steps), the higher ₹200 tier is awarded.

4. Monthly Reward Cycle

  • The reward cycle runs from the 1st to the last day of each calendar month (Indian Standard Time, UTC+5:30).
  • Reward eligibility is calculated and made available within the app at the start of the following month.
  • Each family may earn a maximum of one voucher per calendar month.
  • Unclaimed rewards from a previous month do not carry forward. Each month is an independent cycle.

5. How to Claim Your Reward

  1. At the start of the new month, the Family Head will see a "Claim Reward" notification within the Qadam app.
  2. The Family Head taps "Claim" and selects their preferred store from the available partner stores.
  3. The unique voucher code is displayed on-screen within the app.
  4. The Family Head shares the code with family members if they wish to use it together.
  5. The voucher can then be used during checkout at the selected store (online or in-store, subject to the store's own terms).

Only the Family Head can claim the monthly reward. If the Family Head account is inactive or unavailable, please contact vahdevelopment@gmail.com.

6. Participating Stores

The Family Head may choose one of our partner stores at the time of claiming. Once selected, the choice cannot be changed for that month's reward. The list of participating stores is available within the Qadam app and is subject to change.

We will notify users via in-app notice if any store is added or removed from the programme.

7. Voucher Terms & Validity

  • Each voucher code is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
  • Voucher codes are for single use only. Each code can be redeemed once.
  • Voucher codes are for personal use only and may not be sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash.
  • The minimum order value and specific redemption conditions are set by the individual partner store and are subject to change at the store's discretion.
  • Qadam is not responsible for the policies, terms, or availability of the participating stores.
  • Expired or unused vouchers cannot be reissued or replaced.

8. Reward Availability

Voucher availability is subject to pool capacity. While we strive to ensure vouchers are always available for qualifying families, reward availability may be limited during high-demand periods. If a voucher cannot be issued due to technical limitations, we will notify the Family Head and endeavour to resolve the issue within 7 business days.

9. Fraud & Misuse

Qadam has zero tolerance for fraudulent activity related to the reward programme. The following actions will result in immediate account suspensionand permanent disqualification from all rewards:

  • Artificially inflating step counts by any means (mechanical device, automation, shaking the phone, etc.).
  • Creating multiple accounts to manipulate reward eligibility.
  • Sharing voucher codes publicly or reselling them.
  • Any other conduct designed to exploit or game the reward system.

We reserve the right to void any reward and take appropriate action, including account termination, if we detect or reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.

10. Modifications to the Reward Programme

Qadam reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the reward programme at any time, with or without prior notice. This includes changes to:

  • Step targets and eligibility criteria.
  • Voucher values (₹100 / ₹200).
  • Participating store partners.
  • The reward cycle or frequency.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes via in-app notifications.

11. Tax Implications

Voucher rewards may be subject to applicable Indian tax laws. Users are individually responsible for any tax obligations arising from rewards received. Qadam does not provide tax advice.
